Today I spent this hot summer day hanging out with my mom and dad for father's day. I had a really great day, and I felt that my outfit was really festive for the summer season! I thrifted my tropical print denim shirt about two years ago, and as much as I love it, I've never felt that I had anything to go with it. But I found these adorable red shorts at Target the other day, and now I finally have something to wear my shirt with! Definitely a nice go-to outfit for scorching hot days like today!

In a fun jacket like this, it really is just so hard to keep my arms down by my sides! I've really been eyeing this fringe jacket from Boohoo for a while now, and they were so kind and gifted it to me! It's so rock-n-roll and I love the white for summer, so I just had to have it! I also thought it looked perfect with my new crop top tank from Forever 21... I saw it in the store the other day, and since it's Aerosmith, I just had to get it! What's even better about it is that the back of the tank top is completely lace, which is nothing like any of the other 7 Aerosmith shirts that I own, so that was just another little reason of why I just had to have it! ;)
On an unrelated note, I have to ask a favor from you all! I'm wanting to start working on a few new posts, and I would love some ideas on what you all would like to see! I was thinking about maybe making a FAQ or a Q&A type of thing, because I've been receiving a few questions in my email inbox, and also on twitter. If any of you would be interested in that, feel free to ask me some questions that you would like to see answered on it! I've just been wanting to make some helpful tip-giving posts, or maybe some sort of how-to or tutorial posts? Besides new DIY's (trust me, there will be lots of those this summer!), I don't really know what new posts I'll be putting up yet. So, I wanna know what you all would like to see on my blog! I was out driving around and looking in antique shops with my mom today, and decided that I wanted a bit of a change in scenery for my outfit post today! I bought this dress at Urban Outfitters a few months ago, while they were having their 1/2 off clearance sale, and let me tell you, I really lucked up that day! I usually never shop in Urban Outfitters, because I tend to be very cheap when it comes to clothes, but during their sale I got this dress, my black and white dress that was featured in my last outfit post, a band shirt, and a pair of sandals all for $50! I also looked at the original prices on the tags, and I ended up saving around $150! I am really so happy to have found this dress though, I am such a sucker for dainty little dusty pink dresses! It is so simple, and the detailing around the top is so beautiful. I will definitely be wearing this one a lot during summer! ♥

I'm officially on summer break now, and I thought since I was on summer break that I'd be more productive. Ha! My days and nights so far have consisted of sitting on the couch watching nothing but Sex and the City. I only became really introduced to the show about a month ago, because I watch The Carrie Diaries, and I thought I'd try to watch Sex and the City also. I'm so obsessed now, and that's all I've been doing lately! My outfit today was inspired a lot by Carrie Bradshaw, and her wonderful style! I love how she can really make a simple dress and heels look so fabulous, and so that's what I tried to do with my outfit. I've also been dying for a pair of heeled sandals like these, and a big black leather bag! Now that I have them both, I've been wearing them everywhere, and really loving all of the wonderful compliments I've been receiving! ♥

The other day I went to Forever 21 for the first time in almost forever, but I wasn't in there on the mission to do some major shopping. I really hard a hard time resisting the urge to buy everything, because trust me I saw so many cute things! But I did buy this dress and an Aerosmith crop top (had to, obviously), and this dress was definitely love at first sight! To me, I feel like it honestly looks like something maybe a modern day Audrey Hepburn would wear, and I think this because it looks very classic, and mostly because of the tightly-fitted top. I am just so in love with it!
I've also noticed in the past few days the large amount of black and white that I wear. I really want to switch it up, because I truly love colors and wearing them, and when I am shopping I try to buy colorful clothes, but I always seem to be attracted to black and white clothes the most! It may be a problem, but oh well! I've also noticed that almost all of my clothes now are dresses. They're literally all I wear!

I've been really into getting all dolled up lately and looking more expensive with my jewelry, and I've really been obsessed with my new earrings from Forever 21! They look very Great Gatsby-inspired to me, and that's why I love them! I've also had very good luck with finding cute things for cheap prices lately, first a few weeks ago when I found this very cute big watch from Target for only $17, and again last week when I scored this wonderful maxi from a thrift shop for only $7! The patterns in the lace of the maxi are perfect, and the lace also has sort-of a sparkle and shine to it, which you can't tell from photos. This look was very cheap and is so comfortable and easy, but I feel so fancy! I love it! ♥

Wow, I haven't blogged in what feels like forever! I've been wanting to so badly, but unfortunately I couldn't because I lost my remote! I'm just such a forgetful person and I literally lose everything. I was looking for it for about a week, but I just had to give up and buy a new one because I need it to blog! It would be so difficult for me to try to get something to take my photos for me, and I just kind of like doing them myself better anyways. ;) But besides that, summer is only 3 weeks away and I am SO excited! I'll be so happy to devote more of my time to my blog and just having fun with my friends! Today I wore my favorite polka dot pants with a pale pink blouse I thrifted and my white cut-out oxfords. It was more of a comfy day for me!
